On 26 January 2026, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kailashahar, celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm, marking the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950—a day that symbolizes India’s transformation into a sovereign democratic republic. The event began early in the morning with the hoisting of the National Flag (Tiranga), after which the National Anthem was sung by students, staff, and teachers. This was followed by a march-past by students in disciplined lines, reflecting unity and pride in the country’s constitutional values.
Students and teachers also performed cultural programmes, including patriotic songs and dances highlighting the spirit of nationalism and the importance of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity—the core principles enshrined in the Constitution. Younger students recited poems and participated in themed presentations that celebrated India’s rich cultural and democratic heritage.
