# REPUBLIC DAY: 77th Republic Day celebration

77th Republic Day Celebration

On 26 January 2026, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kailashahar, celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm, marking the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950—a day that symbolizes India’s transformation into a sovereign democratic republic. The event began early in the morning with the hoisting of the National Flag (Tiranga), after which the National Anthem was sung by students, staff, and teachers. This was followed by a march-past by students in disciplined lines, reflecting unity and pride in the country’s constitutional values.   

                                                    Students and teachers also performed cultural programmes, including patriotic songs and dances highlighting the spirit of nationalism and the importance of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity—the core principles enshrined in the Constitution. Younger students recited poems and participated in themed presentations that celebrated India’s rich cultural and democratic heritage.

#NATIONAL YOUTH DAY: National youth day celebration

National Youth Day

On 12th January 2026, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kailashahar, celebrated National Youth Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The programme was organized to honour the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, whose teachings continue to inspire the youth of India.The event began with the lighting of the lamp, invoking blessings for the success of the programme. Students and teachers gathered in the school auditorium for the celebration. The programme included patriotic songs, speeches, and a skit based on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, highlighting the importance of youth in nation-building.In his address, the Principal spoke about the relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s ideals—courage, self-confidence, and service to others—encouraging students to develop strong character and positive thinking. Several students shared their thoughts on how youth can contribute to society and lead with integrity.The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and distribution of certificates to participants, making the day memorable for everyone. The event successfully motivated students to follow the path of discipline and determination as guided by Swami Vivekananda.

#NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK : POERTY COMPETITION (class VI-IX House wise)

POERTY COMPETITION

Students from different classes participated in the Poetry Competition, presenting self-written and famous poems with confidence and expression. ARITRIKA DEBNATH (Class VII) won 1st Prize for her original and expressive poem as well as impressive presentation. AYASHA SINGHA (Class IX B) secured the 2nd Prize for her original and expressive poem. This event encouraged students to develop creativity, vocabulary, and emotional expression.

Book Cover & Book Mark competition

To promote artistic talent and connection with books, students participated in Bookmark and Book Cover Designing events. In Bookmark Making, PTITISHA DATTA (Class VII) bagged 1st Prize for her creative and vibrant design. In Book Cover Designing, ARITIRKA DEBNATH (Class VII) secured 1st Prize for his neat and imaginative cover layout. The activity helped students improve imagination, design skills, and visual storytelling.

Interhouse Quiz competition

A highly engaging House-wise Quiz Competition was organised, covering topics such as general knowledge, literature, current affairs, and library awareness. MARRY KOM House (Yellow house) secured the 1st Position with excellent coordination and accuracy. KIRAN HOUSE (Red House) won the 2nd Position, displaying strong competitive spirit. The quiz helped students improve quick thinking, teamwork, and subject knowledge.

Reading Competition 

To develop reading fluency, comprehension, and confidence, a Reading Competition was held for students of various classes. MANNAT SINHA (Class VIIIA) emerged as the Best Reader, judged on clarity, pronunciation, and expression. This event successfully encouraged students to adopt regular reading habits.

#हिंदी पखवाड़ा : हिंदी पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी/ BOOK FAIR

हिंदी पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी

हिंदी पखवाड़ा के दौरान विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया । इन्हीं का कार्यक्रमों के तहत विद्यालय पुस्तकालय के द्वारा दिनांक: 20/09/2025 (शनिवार) को विद्यालय स्तर पर हिंदी पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें की विद्यालय के सभी छात्र एवं शिक्षक इस आयोजन में सम्मिलित हुए और इस पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी से पुस्तकालय के अंतर्गत जो भी हिंदी की पुस्तक हैं उनसे अवगत हुए। इस पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी में हिंदी साहित्य के विभिन्न महान लेखकों एवं कवियों के पुस्तकों का प्रदर्शनी किया गया था जिनमें की महत्वपूर्ण रूप से मुंशी प्रेमचंद, मैथिली शरण गुप्त, जयशंकर प्रसाद एवं राष्ट्रीय पुस्तक विन्यास के द्वारा प्रकाशित अन्य लेखकों द्वारा लिखी गई पुस्तकों का प्रदर्शनी किया गया था।
